Simon Thierrée: Diabelli-Contest 2016

I chose the English translation for my composition. I worked with modality, counterpoint, homorhythmic and heterophonic principles. I have not had the opportunity to produce a real recording, so I made a MIDI demo of the piece. Of course it loses a lot, especially the contrasts of the text and the phonetic games, but as the work is harmonically complex, it gives a certain idea of the colour of it.
