Alfons König: Diabelli-Contest 2014

Alfons König I was born on July 06, 1950 and spent my childhood years in Bad Neustadt.
At 14, I started an apprenticeship as a mechanic.
I later acquired my higher education entrance qualification in evening classes and studied pharmaceutics at Erlangen University.
Worked as a pharmacist in my native Bad Neustadt and later on became the owner of a pharmacy in Ostheim vor der Rhön.
Since I have retired I’ve been able to fully dedicate myself to my musical passion.
I acquired my musical skills and knowledge with a private music teacher while I was doing my vocational training.
Playing keyboards/piano in various bands helped my pay for my school and university education.
I am married and have a loving wife and son.
