Brief Guide to the Piece IRINI-1914
Genre – concert piano toccata.
The models of the composition technique of the piece are composers’ creative discoveries in the field of musical scales of the first half of the 20th century. Their use in the piece is determined by the task of the competition – to reflect the 100-th Anniversary of the First World War. The peace established after its end turned out to be a short historical respite which caused global historical cataclysms after a short time.

Competition assignment: the rhythmic structure of the word IRINI (Morse alphabet) is equal 13/16
The piece consists of 13 episodes
Each episode consists of two sections containing 13 bars
Structure of harmonic series
Series N 1 (twelve tones) consists of four augmented triads.
Series N2 is a modification of Series N1.
