The piece begins with a classical choral movement and builds up anew through the piece again and again. At the focal point there is a soloistic sung fugato. As a highlight I see the furioso occurring shortly before the end and the subsequent maiestoso that is interrupted by a general pause. The work is based on two main themes and a rhythmic theme that keep coming up, however, interrupted in some places by other small motifs.
I have at this point actually mainly relied on the second part of the prayer, but "God" should be based not only on the Christian religion in this context in my opinion, but simply represent a power, which is superior to the people and connects all of us. To illustrate this I have also inserted German, Latin and Spanish lyrical elements next to the English lyrics.
