Gerardo Gerulewicz Gerardo Gerulewicz: Carl Orff Competition 2018 Who?

« Back ⇧List⇧ Next »
Who?" Is a song based on a excerpt from the poem "Orpheus. Eurydice. Hermes" by Rainer Maria Rilke and inspired by the sculptures of the artist Antje Tesche-Mentzen. The harp and the frame drum convey an atmosphere of classical antiquity. The rhythmic figure which appears in the opera ''L'Orfeo de Monteverdi'' and corresponds in Morse code to the initials of Carl Orff, C and O, is also used.
