Iván Quintana Galera: Carl Orff Competition 2018 Amarchitar

Iván Quintana Galera Iván Quintana Galera is a young Spanish composer, born in Valdepeñas (Ciudad Real). He studied music from the age of four when he was at the ''Flamenco and Classical Ballet Academy''.

A little later, when he was six years old, he began studying piano at the ''Conservatorio y Escuela de Música y Danza Ignacio Morales Nieva'' (Valdepeñas) and ''Conservatorio Profesional de Música Marcos Redondo'' (Ciudad Real). Subsequently, at the age of eighteen, he began his musical education in ''Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid'' specializing in audiovisual composition.

Today he is conducts the ''Choir Batistini'' (Membrilla, Ciudad Real) and teaches music at the ''Pianissimo Music Therapy Academy''. He has written many compositions for classical and modern instruments, short films, audio books and video games.
