- since 1989: elective music at the Friedrich-Schiller-Gymnasium Zeulenroda ( facultative: music ensemble, piano accompaniment)
- from 1995: Apprenticeship as Graduate engineer (FH) electrical engineering
- since 2000: rediscovery of my musical passion
- Choir singing in the student choir of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, later in the Madrigal Circle of the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra
