Essay No. 4 for Organ was specifically composed for the Carl Orff competition 2019. The piece is in 7 parts and it is played without pause. It starts with the Orff Chord syncopated, and with a variation of the Mozart theme played with the pedals. The piece uses 21 chords derived from the second section throughout the composition. These chords are numbered throughout the work to facilitate the analysis of the piece.
