Marjan Chalangar: Carl Orff Competition 2019 Chruch Organ

Marjan Chalangar Marjan Chalangar is a composer from Tehran, Iran, graduated music composition at the University of the Art, in M.A. degree, in 2018. She has composed for a variety of ensembles, including (Oboe, Church organ, Alto Flute, Clarinet Bb, Clavietta, Vibraphone, Tenor Saxophone) solo, (Flute &Harp) duet, (Violin, Violoncello, Piano & Flute, Clarinet A, Tenor Saxophone) trio, (wind & string) quartets, choral and full orchestra. She attained "emerging composer" Certificate of Merit from 4th Tehran International Contemporary Music Festival, for her piece, "Life is Beauty", scored for Oboe, held on 16th-25th June 2019. In 2020, two of her pieces were selected in contemporary music competition. First Presents, for Piano Miniature piece, "with you", in October and 20 Seconds of 2020, "Clavietta", play and recorded by Dr.David Bohn in November.
