Lullabies in the Canary Islands are a genre of folk music called "Arrorró".
The various versions of the arrorró and its themes have remained in the people's memory thanks to oral tradition, although it has also inspired composers such as Teobaldo Power, Blas Sánchez, Lothar Siemens, Luis Cobiella and others to create symphonic and choral works.
In its first verse, this version is an embodiment of the night in the face of a baby.
Its second verse is a wish for peace in the "blue time" of desired happiness.
