Germán Mercado: Carl Orff Competition La vicuñita (Germán José Mercado)

Germán Mercado He was born on 19 October 1989 in Tucuman, Argentina. He began his musical education at the age of 7 at the ''Provincial Conservatory of Music'' in San Miguel de Tucumán where in 2001 he studied piano and was professor of theory and solfeggio. Later he studied piano at the music school in the province of Salta, Argentina.
In 2013 he graduated with a bachelor's degree in musical arts which he pursued at the ''Catholic University of Salta''. As a composer, his most important works have been interpreted by the ensembles "Quartet New Generation" (Germany) and "dissonArt Ensemble" (Greece).
