'Hopeful hearts' is a work that seeks to convey a sense of uncertainty and pain against a hostile situation as a war, and especially the hope that will finally bring peace.
Due to the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War the next year 2015, is an occasion to reflect these feelings of people and nations, and how despite all value continue their lives, always with the hope that peace will come.
Regarding the structure of the work, which lasts 6'43 'minutes piece is in C # m, it starts with the progressive exposure of the main theme (A) 5/4 compass, with the subject at Morse code word which means 'peace' ('Irini', in modern Greek) included as a thread throughout the work. After introducing the theme it gives way to the second part (B), with a little more movement and 4/4 where any cell of the main theme accompanied by an incisive providing low voltage repeats. We return to the exposure of the main theme and thanks to a surprise cadenza move on to the next part of the work (C) differentiated from the others by its composite measure at 6-8 and rhythm 'Allegro' strengthening the notion of hope that lives in the hearts of people with a haunting melody and a syncopated accompaniment that helps it flow that feeling. Finally, return to the main theme (A), and to close the composition a position change occurs in the voices of the theme and the right hand moves to the left and viceversa, to give conclusive character, disappearing with the tonic chord, adorned with an arpeggio of C # with suspended forth.
