The work is written in the key of G minor embedded in 6/8 time. For the accord technical function analysis, chord symbols are shown to this respect in the relevant places. The ballad is intended for baritone voice, piano and a frame drum and was written for the Carl Orff Competition; with the requirements of the competition. On the audio file (mp3) you will find a recording of me on the piano and vocals (though I am not a trained baritone vocalist).
