The piece is divided into three sections, which (should) however go over seamlessly. Initially, the material from the Orff-ish chord is handled by first dissecting, then synthesizing. Secondly, the Mozart short theme is handled - quasi befitting - in fugato form. Finally, both worlds come together in part three and unite after quite heavy ringing for a liberating conclusion, in the spirit of Carl Orff, who did express his fondness for Mozart.
