Christoph Heptner * Born in 1960

* At the age 10, first flute studies with Wolfgang Siggeman (Professor at the University of the Arts, Berlin)

* Studies between 1979 and 1984 Flute with Prof. Konrad Hünteler and Composition with Prof. Harry Höfer at the University of Music Detmold, Münster Institute.

* Teaching at various music schools in North Rhine-Westphalia from 1979 to 1984.

* Studies in recorder playing with Hermann Elsner at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich in 1993 and 1994.

* Courses in early music education and "Music Garden" at the Federal Academy in Trossingen.

* Work in music education in Upper Bavaria from 1985 to 2023.

* Teaching various subjects including flute, pan flute, recorders, ensembles, music theory, and ear training.

* 5 years as a teacher for flute, composition, and "early music education" at the music school in Altötting.

* 16 years as a music teacher at the music school in Erding.

* 22 years as a music teacher at the Music School "Tegernseer Tal".

* Public performances, especially in church and chamber music. Composing chamber and educational works for flutes, pan flutes, woodwind instruments, and music school orchestras.
