Alicia Dominguez Arcos Alicia Dominguez Arcos: Carl Orff Competition 2020 LET US ALL SING

« Back ⇧List⇧ Next »
Based on Orff's method, through the trinomial of word, music and movement, the piece begins with a solo by the children from whispering to raising their voices in crescendo, as if from a distance, until they reach the place where they will perform the theme, then the percussion instruments are included, so that in a third fragment they are all included in their place where they will enclose the trinomial, and at an ever increasing metronomic speed.

In bar 57, the rubbed string instruments will be included by playing them alone, and in bar 66 the children's choir will be included in the musicality of the same rubbed string instruments.
In the end... in bar 83 the voices decrease from singing together to a voice that is lost, as if it leaves the place where the play with words, movement and music is finished.
