Orff in a Tribute to Mozart

This is a work for solo organ and expresses Carl Orff's admiration who in his last years of life called Mozart his favorite composer.
According to the themes given in the frame of the competition, the work is written as an Adagio, in C minor, in the spirit of Mozart with a clear reliance on Mozart's k475 Fantasy. However, the dominant-function chords in the most important points of the work are dissonanced with Orff fragrance.
In addition, there can be found enharmonic modulations between the sections, which indicate that a contemporary composer amused himself by writing this work and putting his personal expression within the classical traditional framework.
